Why does my cat do this?

10 Jul

My year ancient cat will often stare at me where ever I am in the room, and if I look over at him and call his name, he’ll kind of twist himself around and start rubbing his head and face on his perch or where ever he’s sitting. He’ll usually meow and start purring and he’ll stretch one of his paws out in my direction when he does it. Is this his way of showing affection? I’ve never seen a cat do this previous to and it really cracks my friends up when they see it. He was a rescue cat and was weaned too early, so he also tries to nurse on pillow cases, shirts, or blankets whenever someone has been holding and petting him for awhile. Will he outgrow this eventually or is it something he will always do? It’s cute, but it’s not fun to lay down at night and find out that the corner of my pillow is all soggy where he’s been “nursing” on it.

What movie is this? In the last scene the father suffocates his son in his hospital bed…what movie is it?

17 Jun

I just dredge up at the end the limb of the clergy flips the switch on the machine and says “Oh nurse! The machine just glitched” and she says “Oh it does that every now and then.” Then he turns the machine off again, tears the tape off, and suffocates his son with a pillow. Then he puts the tape back on and turns the machine on and walks out the door while all the medical people are rushing in.

Would This be A Good Idea For Nursing Moms????

13 Jun

So recently a young mom was nursing her child in the food court of the mall, the security guard kindly questioned her to do it in the washroom(eww yucky, bateria filled, just ewww) but the mother refused so the security guard escorted her out of the mall. So i was thinking because this specific mall is undergoing renovations to make it larger and i wanted to suggest to them to make like small lounges, 3 of them with nice comfy couches and pillows to accomodate breastfeeding mothers. A mother shouldn’t have to leave a mall right and she certainly should not take her child into a restroom to eat, i wouldn’t eat in a bathroom, would you? If you are a nursing mom or intend to nurse would you feel more comfortable in a nice lounge (only for nursing moms) that had a nice couch and a rocking chair and some comfy pillows? I was thinking if i present this thought and they accept it it may make other companies wanna stay on suit, like walmart or target, so what do you reckon?
the windows in the lounge could be nicely painted so shoppers don’t have to watch and it can be decorated nicely to suit babies.
i live in canada so laws are probably different here then in the US

if you breastfeed you gotta read this!?

11 Jan

hey guys i have a 3 week ancient baby boy and i’ve been using regular bed pillows to nurse him because the boppy was hard and not flexable and i reckon it sucks honestly…well i just want you guys to know…i went to walmart a couple hours ago and got the George nursing pillow and more…thats what its called. and this is by far the most comfortable way i’ve ever breastfed. its SO soft and flexable perfect for nursing in any position…my baby really nursed better then he normally does when we used this. it was only 20 dollars too versus 40 for an uncomfortable boppy. it fits well over your newly not pregnant tummy and it has this small seat that you can sit your baby in the pillow and pull the seat up so he can stay in it..i just wanted to tell you guys who nursing about this pillow ..i’ve breastfed 3 kids and this is awesome! excellent luck to all with breastfeeding i reckon you’ll like this pillow if you get it. so yeah..not a question just a proposition :0)
