Should I see a chiropractor or a pain management doctor?

27 Mar

A few weeks ago I was in a weird position lying in bed and something startled me causing me to jump, hurl myself forward, and leave my Left arm and shoulder behind! In other words, I dislocated it for a minute then it popped back into place. I cried out in pain. Ever since then, I cant sleep with my Left arm up under the pillow, and sleeping is pretty much a trying task now. My boyfriend says there are many large “knots” in my neck so he rubs them out and that is the only way I can get relief. Hes not here now, its 6 am, and I cant sleep!

- 1 going home outfit (comfy yoga pants & nursing tank top)
- 2 pairs of underwear
- 2 pairs of socks
- 4 sanitary pads and 4 breast pads

- all toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, etc.)
- 2 copies of my birth plot
- 4 prenatal vitamins (since I’m breastfeeding)

What should i get my sister for the baby?

13 Mar

My sister is about to pop VERY soon and we are having a shower for her on saturday. Keep in mind that every person is very broke these days. what are some excellent things i can get for her from like walmart? i know she needs sleepers, socks, t-shirts, bibs, diapers, wipes, etc. she is preparation to breast feed so my other sister and i might pitch in to get her a nursing pillow.
its a boy by the way. and i can probably spend about $20 or so. i’ve already gotten a couple of pairs of clothes and a toy. i reckon i bought her some binkies a while back and i just got her a set of baby shampoo and soap

Hospital bag for labor&delivery? What should I pack?

26 Jan

My babys not really due until April. {This is my first.} So Im trying to find out what all I need to pack when the time does really get here. Ive made a lsit of things I reckon or have read that I would possibly need. I was wondering if some of you mothers and moms-to-be would go over it and see if theres anything I should add or take off. I dont want to go overboard with the packing, but I want to make sure I have everything! Keep in mind, she will be born is April or March if she decides to come early and the ride out will be radiator.

For mother;
Pajama’s.
Bunches of underwear.
Socks & slippers.
Confortable cloths & going home outfit.
Chapstick.
Toothbrush & paste.
Shampoo, conditionor & soap.
Face wash.
Pads.

i reckon thats it,i would go check my bag but im too bone idle lol,
im taking a luggage bag and a small bag for the small things, probably my purse, and my baby’s diaper bag does that sound like too much? i rather take more than miss my stuff at the hospital and take everything instead of asking my bf to get it and him not bringing exactly what i wanted it!! lol
Should i take boppy pillow? i heard its excellent to take it but im taking so much stuff already that i dont wanna seem like im tender to the hospital! lol
thanks for your help!!
yeah mine its not really a boppy its another brand that i cant dredge up the name! lol i guess i meant nursing pillow!!
Oh thats right!! i already have 5 underwaer and my own pads…forgot to place it there
Im bringing my diaper bag because when my sister in law had my nephew she ran out of wipes and nurses took forever to bring him since she was nearly leaving she finished up wiping with wet toilet paper and i just rather have my own stuff and his going home clothes, also his pacifier and 2 blankets since its gonna be really cold in 3 weeks i guess so yeah.
The bags are ready and my boyfriend is going to stay at the hospital with me he is not going back home to get the bags so thats why we r taking everything hes gonna sleep there and all so i dont wanna make him go back home :)

Nursing triplets, should I introduce bottles?

28 Nov

I have been exclusively nursing my triplets since they were born, and not one of them has had a bottle yet. Our nursing sessions usually last an hour to an hour and a half by the time I feed all three girls. I feed 2 of the girls at first, while the other lays next to me having tummy time or in a boppy pillow playing with small toys. I let the first two girls nurse for 15 minutes on one side, then I always switch them and offer the opposite side, and they seem to suckle for about 5ish minutes, then they’re usually done. Then I switch, and let the first two girls have tummy time/play while I nurse the third for as long as she wants on each side. The third baby usually seems frustrated, but I try to work through it, encouraging her to continue nursing, even though she may not be being paid milk as quick as she wants it. I rotate who the third baby is each time. They seem to be doing well, but I was just wondering if maybe I should deliberate offering a bottle to the third baby, So that she wouldn’t have to be frustrated with her nursing time, or would it be better to just stick with the routine?
The girls are nearly four months ancient.
