A boppy is fantastic. I used it while breastfeeding and when my daughter got older we used it to help her sit up. She is 21 months now and still uses the thing. It’s worth looking into!!

There are many, Bobby being the name brand. They are a real lifesaver. I don’t reckon you can get them at seats like Wal-Mart, but Toy-R-Us and Babies-R-Us have them or you can buy them online. They are worth every penny.

i use the boppy, it works very well. and you can use it for more than just feeding. you can sit the baby in it, place the baby on his stomach and use it that way.. many different ways it can be used.

i have a boppy and its just a lifesaver, i dont know how i managed lacking it, its so comfortable, and it means you are free to use your arms whilst nursing, to say, read a book, or go on yahoo answers!

I bought a Jolly Jumper one and like it. I needed to get a second one and found it simpler to make it (the Jolly Jumper one from Sears cost $30 — it looked very simple to make) and just did following this pattern —

If you have any novice sewing experience or know someone who does, make your own. The fabric and all the materials only cost me about $15.

what I found worked even better, is those harder foam pillows. Pillows for your bed/head.

I have the My Brest Friend and I like it. I had the Boppy and got rid of it. I reckon a lot of people just urge the Boppy bc it is sold at more seats and they have not tried anything else. The Boppy is too small, soft and rounded to really support a baby. My Brest Friend is a nice firm platform for the baby, so the baby stays at the right level and won’t roll off. It also has a nice back support and pocket. And it has a strap to attach it to you. I can stand at the side of the crib with the pillow resting on the side rail and nurse my baby back to sleep at night. http://www.mybrestfriend.com/
Make sure you bring your pillow to the hospital with you when your baby is born.

The Boppy pillow is a fantastic nursing pillow, and it can also be used to help your baby recline at an angle (vital if baby has reflux). Later, it can also be used to support your baby as he/she learns to sit. It’s a excellent investment.
