Nursing pillows – can anyone recommend a really good nursing pillow?

I am looking for a gift for an expecting mom and thinking aboutgiving a nusing pillow but there are so many out there. Does anyone have a proposition on which one is the best?
What did you do with your Boppy or nursing pillow after you finished?

I have this odd shaped pillow that seems rather useless now that I’m no longer breastfeeding. What did you do with yours? Should I list it on craigslist.com for free to a mother in need? Would someone want a used nursing pillow? (very clean, no stains)

We are flying this summer with our daughter. We know that my husband and I each get a carry on item and that her stroller doesn’t count towards that. Would a Boppy nursing pillow count as carry on item or is it like the stroller?
We are flying Continental, if that makes a difference.

I’m very determined to nurse my next child 12 months, my daughter only nursed for 4 months…So i’m looking for things to make me more comfortable and hopefully make it simpler this time around. What nursing pillow would you urge? There are so many different ones!
